Enrollment for the Lose Yourself program opens up partway through the workshop, right where it happened live. Keep watching. Already know you're in? You can enroll here.
The Lose Yourself Program
Six weeks, starting Saturday, July 18. You build your own Genius Protocol: a personal rewiring system, tuned to your exact pattern, that quiets the inner critic and lets you reach your playing when it counts. You keep it for life, and it adapts as you do.
"Most programs teach you what to do. This builds you a tool you'll use forever."
- A diagnostic intake that maps your Impostor Profile, so the program is tuned to you from day one
- Six weeks of video modules: the neuroscience and the practical work
- The Autonomic Tuner, your ~20-minute daily practice, paired with your instrument, with 38 guided tracks matched to your profile
- The Genius Protocol tool, built week by week into a one-page system you own
- Three live group sessions, including our culminating open-mic night
- A guided notebook with structured prompts for all 42 days
- A private community of musicians doing the work alongside you, where Dr. Turknett is active every day
- Lifetime access, plus ongoing graduate open-mic sessions after you finish
Enrollment is capped at 30 musicians, small enough that the live sessions and the open-mic night stay intimate and everyone gets real attention. Enrollment closes Wednesday, July 15.
Full money-back guarantee. Go through the program, and if it doesn't help you, ask for a full refund. The risk is ours, not yours.
From the last cohort
"Not only did I lead my song, with compliments, by the way, I took four other breaks. I didn't know that I knew that many songs."
Peggy K.
"I love playing music again."
DJ P., who hadn't been to a jam in sixteen years
"It felt like I didn't give a damn about my mistakes, and it was empowering. My enjoyment level was the highest it has been."
Bill G., after an intermediate jam he'd avoided for years
Common questions
How does it kick off? Do I need to be somewhere at a set time?
No. On start day, Saturday, July 18, you'll get an email with everything you need to get connected, and you can dive in whenever it's convenient. The first live session happens sometime that first week, scheduled by a survey so we pick a time that works for the group.
Do I have to attend everything live?
No. There are three live group sessions across the six weeks: a kickoff, a mid-program Q&A, and the culminating open-mic night. They're recorded if you miss one. Everything else is on your own schedule.
What if I'm a beginner, or I don't play banjo or guitar?
It works regardless. The program is about how your brain handles pressure, not any one instrument or level. Beginners and longtime players have both gone through it.
How much time does it take?
About 20 minutes a day for the Autonomic Tuner, plus the weekly module. You can go deeper if you want, but it's built to fit a real life.
How does the payment plan work?
Two payments of $259, charged automatically three weeks apart. Or one payment of $497.
What if it turns out not to be for me?
Go through the program, and if it doesn't help you, ask for a full refund. You get it.
